Samantha joined CPAC as Executive Director in September of 2015. A photographer, arts administrator, and educator, she made the move west to Denver from the East Coast in 2010. Prior to joining CPAC, she taught photography and visual arts for 12 years at high schools in Boston and Denver. She is a longtime member of the Society for Photographic Education, and served as Treasurer of the Southwest region from 2013-2016 and Co-Chair of a Southwest regional conference in Denver (Letters to an Emerging Artist). Her photographs have been shown in numerous exhibitions nationally, and she continues to be an active artist in the community, serving as a reviewer at Houston FotoFest in 2016. She holds a certificate in Arts Development and Program Management from the University of Denver, an MFA from Lesley University College of Art & Design, and a BFA from Alfred University. She was named one of Colorado’s Top 100 Creatives 3.0 by Westword and featured in Lenscratch in April 2016.
Megan is a marketing and communications professional with over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit world. Prior to joining CPAC in January 2015, she served as Director of Marketing for the Southern Environmental Law Center, where she led several successful marketing and PR initiatives across a six-state region. She has also held editorial and public relations positions at the National Wildlife Federation, National Association of Federal Credit Unions, and other organizations in the Washington, D.C. area. She holds a BA in Media Arts and Design from James Madison University and is a 2014 graduate of the Board Development Academy at the Center for Nonprofit Excellence.
Prior to joining CPAC in August 2014, Mariana served as Studio Coordinator of Photography and New Media at Anderson Ranch Arts Center near Aspen, Colorado. She currently teaches workshops in photography and mixed media at the University of Colorado at Denver. She earned her MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Originally from Brazil, Mariana spent part of her life living in Central America before moving to the United States.
Christine is a mixed–media artist living in Denver who primarily works with analog photography and metalsmithing. Prior to joining CPAC in August 2015, she worked as a Lab Assistant at the Auraria Photo Lab. She holds a BFA with a Photography concentration from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and has exhibited locally at the Center for Visual Arts, Republic Plaza, and Emmanuel Gallery. In 2016, she was a featured artist at Westword’s Artopia event at City Hall. She was born in Harrogate, England, and lived in Germany before moving to Colorado in 1997.
Kimberly is a QuickBooks certified accounting professional with more than 20 years of experience in the finance industry. Before joining CPAC in 2010, she served as an independent consultant for multiple clients in Moab, Utah, and an IT Access Database Developer and Customer Service Administrator at Xicom Technologies in Santa Clara, California. She holds a BS in Microbiology from San Jose State University.
